SMR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

SMR (U.K) Ltd is committed to minimising any adverse impact of its operations on the environment wherever practicable. Our environmental responsibility is based upon continuous improvements, consistent with current knowledge. This includes not only the ecological environment but also the local communities. We recognise that the pursuit of economic growth and a healthy environment must be closely linked.

Wherever possible SMR (U.K) Ltd will be mindful of the need to embrace sustainability within its operations and processes. SMR (U.K) Ltd will endeavour to build a business, offering wherever possible, products that have a positive effect on the environment by reducing waste, unnecessary pollution, and the avoidable use of the worlds natural resources. This will be achieved by encouraging others to re-cycle excavated spoil on-site thus making optimum use of existing resources.

SMR (U.K) Ltd. will continue to develop and market new products and/or techniques that will minimise the impact that Utility reinstatement works have on the environment.

Production of SMR Soil Stabiliser has a lesser impact on the environment than the production of Ordinary Portland Cement, which is the main constituent of SMR Soil Stabiliser.
